In the week leading up to his second career NBA all-star appearance, Zach Randolph had an outstanding five game stretch, averaging 17.2 points and 9.8 rebounds, while shooting 49.1-percent from the field.

But for as much noise as Randolph has been making on the court this season, he may be making more off of it for his charitable work. Check out what he's been up to, below.

NEWS:
After a 4th opinion on his left knee, it was determined that Jason would need surgery to repair damaged cartilage, an operation which will sideline him for 9-12 months and possibly end his career.

He still has two years left on his contract in Philly, worth six-million per season, but at 32-years of age, his career is on the decline. This year alone, he missed time due to back, wrist, ankle and knee injuries.

Richardson has had a phenomenal NBA career, averaging 17.3 points per game over 12 seasons, starting a total of 826 out of 838 career games.
