1. Turnovers: The Spartans played their most sloppy ball of the season against Middle Tennesse. Whether it was passes that went out of bounds, passes that attempted to go through two defenders, or a few travel calls, the Spartans didn't take care of the ball. It seemed like whenever Michigan State was about to tie the game, take the lead, or make a run, a turnover stalled the Spartans. It all added up to 14 turnovers. In a season where the Spartans shared the ball, they gave it away too much against Middle Tennessee.
