Just 5 weeks into the season, Kirk Cousins got his first chance to showcase his talents in the NFL after Washington's starting quarterback Robert Griffin III suffered an injury midway thru the 3rd quarter against the Falcons.
After going 3-and-out on his first possession, Cousins hit Santana Moss for a 77-yard touchdown strike, giving the Redskins a 17-14 lead early in the 4th quarter.
However, after the Falcons regained the lead, Cousins threw a pair of interceptions on two of the final three possessions for Washington.
Cousins finished the day completing 5-of-9 passes, throwing for 111 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions.

Javon Ringer RB (TEN) - 3 receptions for 12 yards in the Titans 30-7 loss to Minnesota. Javon left the game with a knee injury and the Titans fear that it could be season ending.
Trenton Robinson FS (SF) - DNP in the 49ers 45-3 victory over the Buffalo Bills.
Eric Smith S (NYJ) - Plays tonight versus Houston. Has one tackle this season in limited time.
Drew Stanton QB (IND) - DNP, in the Colts 31-28 victory over Green Bay.
Jerel Worthy DT (GB) - One tackle in Green Bay's' 30-27 defeat to Indy. Jerel has 6 tackles, including 1 sack this season.
