Spartan Sports Network and MSU Athletics Release New SSN Mobile App

EAST LANSING, Mich. - Spartan Sports Network, in conjunction with the Michigan State athletic department, announced the release of its new SSN Mobile App today. The enhanced app features SSN’s award-winning live coverage of MSU Athletics, in addition to new additional features.

“We are pleased to partner with the Spartan Sports Network on the development and launch of our new app,” said Michigan State director of athletics Mark Hollis. “With a touch of a fingertip, this app connects Spartan fans in the state, throughout the country and around the world to what is going on with Michigan State Athletics. The convenience of the app allows fans, at home, at work or on the go, access to live broadcasts, press conference, coaches’ shows and on-demand programming.”

New subscribers should visit the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, and search for Spartan Sports Network, while current subscribers will need to download the app update. The app is now available on smart phones and the tablet version is due to be released on Nov. 1. Fans will have the ability to go through a 30-day free trial upon download. The app will cost subscribers $3.99 per year.

The SSN Mobile app provides fans with convenient and exclusive access to over 300 live Michigan State Athletics events, including game broadcasts, weekly press conference and coaches’ radio shows. The app features three streams, including SSN 24/7, and easy access to archived podcasts of past events.

Highlighting the new features of the app is download of the Michigan State gameday programs for football, men’s basketball, hockey and women’s basketball. In addition, there will be easier access to live stats, gameday information, podcasts and broadcast notifications.
